All as ONE

The 2004  tsunami caused by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake under the Indian Ocean near the west coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra affected 13 districts in Sri Lanka on a bright sunny morning taking the beach goers, tourists, fishermen, and residents near the shore without a warning

This deadly strike of the ocean caused a great change in the lifestyle of the people near the coastal area as well as the other people as it was an unexpected incident which the srilankens had never experienced before in their life, as a fact some of did not even know the word "Tsunami".

This great strike of the ocean on the 26th of December changed so many peoples lives as most of them lost their parents, loved ones, homes, schools, lands and many more.

But it wasn't the end for us, as srilankens we  united and rose again from the place we fell down, with all the help from many other countries all over the world , srilanka was able to rebuild all the things that were taken with the strong tides. The people united in one name, thats as srilankens to build up the country as it was before the strike, as a fact the country end up even better that it was earlier and that was the spirit of the srilankens. All those who had to sacrifice their lives will always be in our heart.

Talking about cricket and sri lanka, well there is a lot to talk about, well it’s difficult to think of what to talk first, but still I can say sri lanka is one of the very best cricket teams in the world and I won’t mind saying that sri lanka is THE best cricket team in the world.

To begin with, sri lanka won the world cup in 1996, and that wasn’t the end, sri lanka cricket team continued showing off their cricket skills all over the world. It’s very rear to see the sri lanka cricket team  lose a match and even if they do it’s just a simple one, no hard fealings.

Im not trying to boast about our team but still I can say it’s one of the best teams! And also I would like to say that the support from the sri Lankan cricket fans are a great blessing for our team as the whole sri lanken cricket crowd gathers together to watch the match and that itself will shower blessings all over our cricket team and that’s the spirit we have here in sri lanka.

Sri lanka cricket team has some of the world’s best cricket players and as sri Lankans we are proud of that, representing sri lanka all over the world and bringing us a good name, that itself is enough for us.

new year 2015 !!!

SO its a new year now and this is my first post for this year 2015. Wishing everyone a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, 2015 I would like to say its gonna be a great year and many things to come up in the near future. Its the years that keep changing not us, so its better to let the past be in the past and try and work harder for the years to come without just thinking over what you have gone through the past few years.
Its the things that you experienced in the past years which are going to help you in this new year and make you more stronger.

Talking about Sri Lanka we had a big new year celebration along with the Christmas Celebration and the people enjoyed with their family and loved ones. Its nice to see everyone with a smile on their face because its not the same world we have here comparing with the past. Its getting worse, people killing each other for money, families separated, and the world is divided, so at a time like this seeing people happily enjoying their life is a good thing  and thats what we want here in Sri Lanka. let this year be a successful year for every one and do everything you can to achieve your goals.
